The album this makes me want to dust off:  Transformers – Steve Jablonsky

Will I come back to it?  No.  I’ve often lamented and/or celebrated “directionless cool” in film scoring (depending on the level of creativity and effectiveness).  This isn’t that; it’s more of a soothing cool.  Think of every calm moment from a Transformers movie.  I have no idea how this style will work with this real life story, but it just doesn’t make for an interesting full album experience.
