Will you be humming along? I didn't really identify a theme, but, the playfulness of the monkeys comes through consistently from start to finish.
The score this makes me want to dust off: Megamind - Hans Zimmer & Lorne Balfe
Will I come back to it? This is an overall enjoyable listen! The lighthearted and humorous moments are the highlight here. But, there are some intense action cues worth repeating, as well. Having not seen the movie, this might be too deep, but here goes: the score is a great mix of real danger of the wild and stereotypical expectations we associate with monkeys. Either way, always glad to hear a fun Gregson-Williams score!
